Heather

I’m Heather — the human behind Practically Heather. I’m a mum to two wonderful (and wonderfully exhausting) kids: an 11-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter. I’ve lived in North Toronto for nearly 20 years, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have my extended family close by — grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a sibling all within about 15 minutes. A true village, just not under one roof. I’m also blessed to do life alongside an incredibly engaged, hands-on partner. My husband has always been present — first and foremost because he wants to be — and also thanks to a genuinely family-first employer. This kind of support changes everything. And I don’t take that for granted. Not for a second.
Because here’s the truth:
Supporting a family — emotionally, financially, physically — is HARD.
Juggling the endless demands of daily life is HARD.
Honestly? Being a grown-up is HARD.
Support makes all the difference — and everyone deserves access to it. Enter Practically Heather.
I’m a classic Type A personality (lists are love, calendars are sacred) with a real desire to support people whose shoes I’ve walked in. I know what it’s like to be pulled in every direction while trying to hold it all together. That’s why Practically Heather exists. To quietly step in. To organize, plan, coordinate, and take things off your plate. To make life feel a little more manageable — and a lot less lonely.
In the most delightful way,
My Story
